Group acupuncture sessions allow your acupuncturist to treat several people at once, resulting in lower patient cost, and also creating a collective healing energy that enhances each individual’s treatment. These 20-40 minute treatments are typically done in reclining chairs, couches or on mats on the floor, clients are fully clothed, and needles are gently placed in the head, below elbows, and below knees to treat pain in various parts of the body and also alleviate mental distress. The quiet setting allows for a peaceful, meditative experience as the body’s energy systems shut down and “re-boot” – very similar to what we do with our electronic devices when they are malfunctioning!
