Past Retreat Participants Share

“My journey opened up another layer of seeing and being, which colors and influences my choices and how I approach things. I am now actively planning my retirement for next March, so that I can direct my energy going forward towards living a more purposeful life and my work of advocating for animals and nature. I think doing the journey played a significant role in inspiring me to begin that process.”

A.R.

“I appreciate group healing experiences like these as they helped me to understand more about myself in relationship to others.  I’ve also met some wonderful people at these retreats who have become lifelong friends.”

J.T.

“Ada has a beautiful, loving gift of presence and created a safe space for me to explore deeply within myself, so I could understand where my pain has come from and how to start to unwind my patterns.”

Y. D.

“Amie was calm, confident, and knowledgeable, and brought humor and her light to the retreat. I came into the group journey feeling very emotionally immature and uncertain, and left with direct messages and helpful practices that I have incorporated into my daily life and family interactions.”

How do I know if this retreat is right for me?

This retreat is for people who feel called to a guided journey of self-exploration with plant medicine and are willing to participate respectfully in a group setting.

How is safety addressed?

Safety begins with screening, preparation calls, clear expectations, and trained facilitator support throughout the retreat. Participants are asked to be fully transparent about medical history, medications, and mental health considerations so readiness can be assessed thoughtfully and safely.

What preparation is required?

Before the retreat, participants have individual calls with the lead facilitator and one group preparation session.  There will also be journal exercises to complete before the retreat, designed to review readiness, intention, and practical group preparation.

What happens after the retreat?

Integration, or processing key insights, is a core part of this experience. You will have group integration sessions during and after the retreat, and additional private coaching support is available for enhanced long-term benefit.  Follow-up work with a therapist may be advised if needed.

Will I definitely need follow-up integration support?

Yes, integration of insights through coaching or therapy is strongly encouraged in the weeks and months after the retreat, as the experience often continues to unfold over time.  It’s best to start thinking about your primary support network and set it up before the process begins.

Who is this retreat not suited for?

This retreat may not be a fit for people who have severe PTSD or trauma that hasn’t been addressed first with a licensed therapist.  Individuals currently taking multiple contraindicated prescription medications or supplements may need to discontinue or reduce intake under the guidance of a medical professional.  For those who need highly personalized support that cannot be provided in a group retreat setting, a private journey may be best to begin this inner work.

What if I am unsure if this is for me?

We encourage you to schedule your initial consult so we can determine whether a group retreat is the right fit for you. This helps us review your history, current needs, and readiness so we can support you in choosing the safest and most appropriate next step.  You are also welcome to download our free E-book, Beyond the Trip, to learn more about safely using psychedelic medicine for mental health.

Why is the consultation so important?

Careful screening matters because psychedelic retreat experiences can intensify emotions, trauma material, and psychological states, and a group format cannot provide the same level of individual attention as one-on-one care.   We have your safety and care in mind at all times.

When is the last time you checked in with your wise soul?

If you feel called to this experience, we invite you to take the next step
